Sanchez says there is also Living History at Empire Cottage and in the Clubhouse, with park docents portraying many of the characters who shaped our history. There is also a variety of entertainment on the Clubhouse stage for all ages. You’re urged to bring a picnic lunch, plus blankets and chairs. But there’s also plenty of food and drinks available for purchase. The 122nd Miners Picnic is tomorrow, from 11am to 4pm, at Empire Mine State Park.
