A tip from authorities in Minnesota has led to a narcotics arrest in Nevada County.  Sheriff Keith Royal says the Nevada County Narcotics Task Force was informed that a 30 year old Shawn Wood of Nevada City  was growing marijuana and distributing it in the state of Minnesota, and they served a warrant at a home in the 19-thousand block of Buck Ridge Road yesterday.

The Sheriff says Wood will also face code violations for dangerous use of electricity where it could have started fires.  The investigation is still ongoing. Woods was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility last evening on 10 felony charges.  Bail was set at $150 thousand dollars and Woods has already bailed out of jail.
