Money Still Short For Courthouse Study

City Manager Dave Brennan says they are still about 15-thousand dollars short, and had hoped to get that money through private donations or fundraising efforts. Renovation of the 19th century courthouse was taken off the state’s priority list in 2012, but Brennan hopes that if a feasibility study is done, the state will take notice…

The savings would come by renovating the current courthouse instead of building a new one. Brennan and city staff updated the City Council at the meeting last night.
