More Energy Savings For Nevada County

Also 13 exterior and 8 interior lighting upgrades. Meanwhile, Monaghan says more solar system installations for consideration include the Rood Center, Wayne Brown Correctional Facility, Juvenile Hall, and Lake of the Pines waste water treatment plant. He says the county is expected to save another 5-point-8 million dollars over the first 20 years. County Supervisors are expected to approve an 88-thousand dollar contract tomorrow (Tues.) for in-depth engineering work and and studies, which are scheduled for completion in the fall, with all projects to then be completed within a year.
