More Funding Approved For Auburn Homeless Shelter

The North Auburn homeless shelter will soon be open 24 hours a day. Placer County Supervisors have approved 225-thousand dollars for the additional operational costs. That means it’ll also be open during the day for the first time, starting in November. Another 40-thousand dollars has also been approved for site improvements. The money will allow the shelter to stay open at least through March.
