Last week it was the opening of some trails in Condon Park. Now, this week, the city’s Green Light Grass Valley program includes two more announcements. (Just minutes ago), the City has expanded what’s allowed in city parks…
That means same families only. It’s not for pickup games. Also, bring your own hand sanitizer, because the restrooms will still be closed. City Manager Tim Kiser says law enforcement will increase monitoring of the parks, but the rule is mostly on the honor system…
Walking and jogging trails are also now open at Mautino and Memorial Parks. Kiser says another change (being made today) is the addition of short-term parking spaces downtown. They are for curbside pickup from local restaurants…
There will be about eight of them. Kiser says the signs will be easy to see and cost about 30 dollars apiece to install. Kiser says the dog park at Condon Park will re-open next week. He says there’s some maintenence that needs to be done before that can happen.
