More Marijuana Gardens Busted In Nevada County

Royal says 41-year-old Clinton Cates, from Tucson, Arizona…24-year-old Kees Dejong, from Palo Alto…and 30-year-old Michael Orbell, from Niles, Illinois were taken into custody. Royal says there were only three valid medical marijuana recommendations, which were not nearly enough to cover that many plants…

Violations included unsafe electrical wiring, diverting water from Wolf Creek, and sewage being discharged onto the ground. Two people from Hawaii were detained at the adjacent property but have not been charged so far.
