More Minor Repairs Of Scotts Flat Spillway Ahead

The Nevada Irrigation District says last winter’s heavy rains caused Scotts Flat Lake to spill for an extended period of time, resulting in the flaking and dislodging of portions of spillway slabs. The NID Board will consider a $142,000 contract for the work at its meeting on Wednesday. Scherzinger says the work should be completed in time for the rainy season.
