The motorcyclist was 38-year-old Mihai Algiu of Nevada City. Both drivers had minor to moderate injuries. Cornwall says driving at unsafe speed for the weather conditions triggered the crash. There were only minor injuries. The names of the drivers were not available. Woodall says there was also another, non-injury, rear-end collision when a driver failed to slow down in time for the backup.
