Mostly “A”s and “B”s when Sierra College district trustees grade selves

Sierra Community College District trustees graded themselves on their work, ranging from supporting the president of the district to complying with the state open meeting law known as the Brown Act, and gave themselves mostly  “A”s  and “B”s.

The lone “F” came from trustee Nancy Palmer, who lives in Grass Valley, and involves the board’s work in state and federal legislation.
“We are so close to the state capitol, yet we do little interaction with them, Palmer said.

Aaron Klein is president of the board of trustees, and was first elected in 2004.
