Mother and Son Hit By Car In Grass Valley

A 44-year-old woman and her 7-year-old son were seriously injured, after being hit by a car in Grass Valley over the weekend. Police Captain Steve Johnson says the two were struck while crossing East Main Street at Presley Way, during the noon hour on Saturday. Johnson says the driver has not been charged and there does not appear to be any gross negligence. Speeding was not a factor…

Johnson says although there was no marked crosswalk at the intersection but the investigation will determine whether the mother and son were crossing safely.
