Motion to Suppress to be Heard in Bigelsen Case

The case of a doctor not being a doctor… or so the prosecution proclaims…back in Superior Court Thursday morning. Harvey Bigelsen is charged with various misdemeanor crimes involving practicing medicine with certification, proclaiming to be a doctor, using the title of doctor, and several charges about altering or providing medications. Bigelsen’s defense attorney, Mark Garegos, will present arguments to suppress evidence seized in March. District Attorney Cliff Newell says the motion to suppress was not a surprise.
