Motorcycle Accident in Alta Sierra

A Grass Valley man suspected of drunk driving lost control of his motorcycle Tuesday afternoon. A CHP spokesperson said the 64 year old man lost control of his 2003 Harley Davidson on Alexandra way near Joseph Way in Alta Sierra.

The spokesperson said it appeared from the evidence the rider straightened out a curve. The rider tapped his rear brake for just a second and then laid the motorcycle on it’s side.

The CHP suspects the rider of being under the influence when the accident happened. The rider was taken to Sutter Roseville by helicopter as a precaution. No visible injures were  seen on the rider.
