Motorcyclist Lucky After Crash

The CHP says a motorcyclist trying to pass over a double yellow line, narrowly missed serious injury. Office Brant Hardin says the accident was reported on Friday afternoon on Highway 174 and Orchard Springs. Officer Hardin says the rider of a 2007 Harley Davidson motorcycle went over the double yellow to pass a 2002 Ford Explorer. Officer Harden The explorer made a turn as the motorcycle was passing it.

The 64 year old rider of the motorcycle and the 65 year female old driver of the Ford were both taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for treatment of non life threatening injures.
