Motorhome Burns South of Grass Valley

Fire fighters were able to save the surrounding homes after a mobile home was a total loss. Battalion Chief Jim Turner says fire crews responded to a smell of smoke call at a home in the Mountain Aire Mobile Home Park at two Monday morning. Chief Turners says the home had flames showing when the initial fire fighters arrived. The burning mobile home quickly caused a very dangerous situation.

The woman and her granddaughter were able to escape without injury. The Chief says fire fights were able to save several mobile homes that were within eight feet of the burning structure.
