Moving Day for The District Attorney’s Office

Today is moving day for the Nevada County District Attorney’s office.

That’s Nevada County District Attorney Cliff Newell who says they started packing yesterday and will continue to move over the weekend and hope to be back at business Monday morning.  The new location gives staff more space and will save the county money.

Instead of leasing office space the county is buying the new building, gaining equity and paying less on a mortgage than they were on rent.  The address for the new District Attorney’s office is 201 Commercial Street, Nevada City and the phone numbers will stay the same.
