mPOWER Can Help Finance Home Energy Improvements

M-POWER stands for Money for Property Owner Water and Energy Retrofitting, and projects can range from solar systems to a new furnace and air conditioner to water heaters to even electric car charging stations. Retallack says applications are not judged based on income…

As of their recently-released April report, the program has received a total of 30 applications. For more information, you can visit their website (www.mpowerca.org), and they also have frequent seminars throughout Placer and Nevada Counties. There’s one Friday in Grass Valley at 3pm in the City Council chambers.
