Multi-agency Effort Focused on Car Thefts

A multi-agency law enforcement operation focused on car theft activity within Western Nevada County led to the arrest of one suspect.

CHP Officer Greg Tassone says that the team was able to locate a suspect, Robert Grinnell, 32, at an Idaho Maryland address in Grass Valley.

In addition to the Grinnell arrest, the task force also focused on a property in North San Juan just past Grizzly Hill School that was being used to dump stolen vehicles.

No arrests were made at the property, but the owners could now return to the property in relative safety.
