Multi-County Pursuit Grass Valley Robbery Suspects

Johnson says the van turned out to have been stolen from Grass Valley Glass. It was found abandoned a short while later, a few blocks away. He says the suspects were identified through video surveillance footage viewed at another business Tuesday morning. He says the suspects were soon after seen getting into another stolen van at a Chevron station on McKnight Way, where the pursuit began down Highway 20 toward Penn Valley, with the CHP also assisting. Officer Greg Tassone says the chase eventually went through Marysville and southbound on Highway 70 toward the Sacramento area Tuesday afternoon. Tassone says the suspects ultimately bailed out of the van, as it was moving, near Truxel and San Juan Roads, south of I-80, where the arrests were made and the search continues for the third suspect.
