Multilated Animals Found in South County

Two brutally mutilated animal were found Monday afternoon. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says the two animals were originally thought to be dogs. The remains were found on Retrac Way near Digger Pine in the South County area.  Sheriff Royal says a veterinarian checked the remains and determined that the two animals were actually sheep. The Sheriff says this incident is a deliberate callus act. Anyone with information is asked to the Sheriff at 265-7880.
