Over a dozen wildfires across California continue to threaten thousands of homes.  Most of the fires are burning in Northern California as Cal Fire Spokesperson Daniel Berlant says the hot temperatures and dry conditions  have been a challenge to firefighters but weather patterns are expected to change.

Berlant says that could fan some of these fires. … over 7,000 firefighters today are working  to build containment around the fires.
