Multiple Weapons Lead to Arrest in Auburn

An Auburn Police Officer noticed a parked car with a male subject in sitting in it and when he approached realized the man was armed. The male became agitated while speaking with the officer and a scuffle ensued and additional backup arrived on scene. Lt. Victor Pecoraro say the officer handcuffed the individual, identified as 59 year old Robert Lee Works, and then searched his vehicle.*

Works was arrested on several firearms charges, resisting arrest and warrants from San Bernardino County totaling $82,000. The new charges carry a $175,000 bail.
