Murder Charge Dropped Against Desiree Hayden

A murder charge has been dropped against Desiree Hayden in the death of her ex-husband that occurred earlier this summer in Grass Valley. Assistant D-A Chris Walsh says the victim, 44-year-old Brian Sharp, could have died from an assault, a heart condition, drugs, or some combination. But Hayden will still be prosecuted for assault, as well as child abuse against one of their children. Walsh says there’s also a possibility that Hayden will be charged with assaulting her mother, in a separate incident.
