Murder Trial Continued- Attorney Conflict

A murder case in Nevada County Superior Court involving two co-defendants has been continued do to a conflict in defense. Scott Hollingshead and Christopher Nix are in custody for the alleged murder of 41 year old Brian Spaulding and have yet to be arraigned on the charges. On Monday a conflict with the public defenders office came to light. Deputy District Attorney Jennifer Ow tells KNCO that the attorney appointed to represent Christopher Nix filed the attorney conflict.

At this point the court is still seeking a replacement for Klein.

Ow says she would like to see the case move forward on the 25th.
