Tip of the hat to The Center For The Arts. They made a great decision when it came to grabbing Bill Cosby for a show!
This was my second Cosby performance. First time I was 19, and thought I got what he was talking about. Oh the hubris of youth! This time, a few years older (like 36) I KNEW exactly what he was talking about! I laughed until tears came more than once. As a matter of fact, my sides hurt until Sunday afternoon.
I thought his salute to Nelson Mandella was touching. His story of his meeting Mandella was both insightful and funny.
There was a story he told about how it’s really her house, which had both my wife & I in tears. Once she gained control I was informed, “It’s not that funny.” Then she laughed even harder.
Some of my earliest memories of humor are thanks to Bill Cosby, he still has it!
