MyNevadaCounty.com Earns A+

The Sunshine Review, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to government transparency, has awarded the Nevada County public website MyNevadaCounty.com a perfect “A+” score for government transparency. This places Nevada County’s website as the only “A+” rated site across the 58 California Counties.
County Chief Information Officer, Steve Monaghan, says the site rose to the top by meeting all of the Sunshine Review’s criteria.
Phase one of the award wining site was launched last spring. Monaghan says there are a number of additional functions to be added in Phase 2 and 3 including enhanced interactivity.

Nevada County does not have a dedicated Public information Officer staff position, but Assistant County Executive Officer Alison Lehman has added on one more hat by
