Mystery Knife-Related Injury In Grass Valley

A man with a knife stuck in his body was airlifted to Sutter Roseville Trauma Center early Friday afternoon. Just after twelve o’clock Grass Valley Police responded to the call of a man on Pleasant Street  that had appeared to have been stabbed. Sgt. Jason Perry says that officers located the victim

The details of what occurred are somewhat confusing.

The victim, James Williams, had contacted someone in the area and that person called 911.
Williams was treated at the scene, then transported by ambulance to the helipad at the PG and E building on Taylorville Road where he was then transferred to the heicopter.
The incident remains under investigation.
