A naked suspect in a victim’s home had to be subdued by law enforcement in order to take him into custody following a complaint of his presence in a Conway Avenue residence. Grass Valley Police Lt. Alex Gammelgard says the incident began when the resident called the police when the suspect 19 year old Jiah Vaughn, would not leave as originally planned.
The officer attempted to place Vaughn in handcuffs but was unsuccessful.
The second officer realized the first officer was in a poor defensive position.
Eventually Vaughn was subdued by the officers and transported to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital for clearance prior to being booked for attempting to remove an officers gun, battery on an officer, and resisting arrest.
