Narcotics Task Force serves warrant in Grass Valley

The Nevada County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force served a search warrant in the 10-thousand block of Oak Street in Grass Valley after developing some information about possible illegal drug sales. Nevada County sheriff Keith Royal says the officers went to the residence yesterday (Thursday) morning to execute the search warrant.

At the scene they arrested 56 year old Joel Franks, who was living  at the residence.

Two other people in the house, were also taken into custody.

Another man in the home, 53 year old Donald Arthur was also taken into custody for being under the influence of a controlled substance.

All three were booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
