There are six displays depicting the theme of this years’ event, “Make a Lasting Impact.”  Window displays are in the Bamboo Store, Cousin Jack’s Pasties, Foothill Mercantile, Marshall’s Pasties, Mill Street Clothing and Tess’ Kitchen Store. There is also a display at the Nevada City Chamber of Commerce.

A panel of local judges includes Nevada County Agricultural Commissioner, Jeff Pylman; Nevada County Consolidated Deputy Fire Marshal, Terry McMahan; and Nevada County Fair Deputy Director, Robin Hauck. The panel will be evaluating the displays and ranking them for awards to be presented at County 4-H Achievement Night scheduled for this Saturday, October 13, 2012 at the fairgrounds.
