The Nevada City Farmer’s Market reopened Saturday morning, but it was a much different feel than the usual free flow of customers interacting with vendors and enjoying a variety of entertainment. Market Manager Becca Warner said that a number of safeguards were in place to help protect both buyers and sellers.
Though lines were forming around both sides of the market, people were appreciative there was a market, and happy to have the option.
Even with a llimited selection, customers were pleased with what they were finding. Regarding selling at the market, the Little Fish Company says business is good, but they have changed their business model.
The Nevada City Farmer’s Market takes place Saturday mornings in the parking lot at Three Forks Brewery, Wheyward Girls Cheese Shop, and the District Attorney’s Office.
