Belden Corporation announced the 220-million dollar purchase of Grass Valley in February, which also owns another broadcast equipment company Miranda. The two will operate together at a facility in the Whispering Pines Business Center in Grass Valley. Harris says the Nevada City location is not only beautiful, but it’s an ideal spot for some other business…
It’s not been made public how many employees were working at the Nevada City location. Belden Corporation also has not announced how many layoffs will be made as a result of the acquisition.
