NC Republican Party hosts Presentation on Marijuana Impacts

The Nevada County Republican Party is hosting a presentation on the impacts of marijuana in Nevada County.

Republican Party  Chairwoman Deborah Wilder says it will be at the Rood Center in the Board of Supervisors Chambers Tuesday May 10th.

There will be three speakers including Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal  who will address the crime and environmental issues related to marijuana.  NID General manager Rem Scherzinger will talk about marijuana cultivation impacts on water.

Wilder says people will be able to submit questions for all three panelists.  The discussion will begin at 6:30 and finish by 8 p.m.
