Among many stories Noy will recount are hidden tales of Nevada County figures such as Lola Montez, Lotta Crabtree and Andrew Hallidie and obscure stories of local events, such as the building of the Pine Street Bridge in Nevada City.
Noy was born in Grass Valley and lived on Clark near a little street called Kate Hayes. But he didn’t know Kate Hayes was a famous Opera Singer until he became a historian.
