NCTV Raising Rates to Televise Meetings

It will be costing a little more for local governments to have their meetings available on television. The current rates were set in 2007, and N-C-T-V charges a hundred dollars for a half-day meeting and two hundred for a full day. The increases are now 40 dollars for a half-day, and 50 dollars for a full-day session. Noble says that money is not just profit…

Noble says Nevada County and Grass Valley have already signed off on the increases. The Nevada City City Council is expected to approve the fee increase at their meeting tomorrow night (Wednesday). The new rates are retroactive to July first of this year.
