Faced with the very real possibility of going off the air, Nevada County TV, Channel 11 — operated by the Nevada County Digital Media Center — will now have time to reorganize and refinance thanks to a loan from three private citizens. Greater Grass Valley Chamber of Commerce Co-CEOs Keith and Robin Davies, along with former Grass Valley City Administrator Dan Holler, have agreed to loan the struggling local public access television station $10,000.

Keith Davies says they were determined to keep the station on the air as NCTV is also helping promote business.

Davies explained the $10,000 loan will cover the station’s operating expenses for three months, during which time the Digital Media Center’s s new leadership team expects to have the 501(c)(3) non-profit benefit corporation back on solid financial footing. The loan isĀ scheduled to be repaid over the next six months.
