NEO Celebrates 5 Years with Fun Park Party

neoFive years ago  two Nevada County teenagers did something to give local teens more to do that just hang out. Lynn Skrukrud and her friend Hallie Ellis formed the youth group, NEO.

Ellis and Skrukrud  partnered with the Nevada County Drug Free Coalition and formed NEO. The word itself means “New” and the achronim is New Events and Oportunities.   NEO will celebrate it’s 5th anniversary with a big party at the 49er Fun Park on Railroad Avenue off Idaho Maryland all day  tomorrow.

All of the regular 49er Fun Park events will be regular price,  but all the other activities that are part of the NEO fest will be free.
