Nevada City City Council Meets Tonight

The Nevada City City Council will be looking at a couple proposed ordinances asked for by new Police Chief Jim Wickham to curb smoking and camping in the city. Vice Mayor Dwayne Strawser says the city has been looking at a smoking ordinance since before he joined the council and after talking with business owners believes there can be a win win ordinance.

The issue of camping is a delicate one according to Strawser.

The Nevada City City Council will meet tonight at 6:30 pm in City Hall at 317 Broad Street in Nevada city.
