Senior and professional riders representing top US cycling teams are expected to race in the men’s 90 minute main event, which is the last race of the day. Women’s Junior’s and Master’s races also are planned. Strawser says racers come for the purse and to say they have raced in the famous Nevada City Classic.

Strawser says having major sponsors including Waste Management, The UPS Store and Subaru will make the Bicycle Classic even more appealing to racers and spectators this year.
