The Nevada City City Council is cleaning up a little mess where it comes to dogs running without a leash. Parks and Recreation Supervisor Dawn Zydonis say the Council had the second reading and adoption of an ordinance that will allow dogs to run free at times…
Zydonis says they have gotten several complaints over the past several months, so the Council decided the issue needed to be addressed…
Dogs will have to remain on leashes when there are events at the park, such as Little League games. Zydonis says there is not enough space available for a full-sized fenced-in dog park in Nevada City, so this is the best option available.
