The celebration of veterans continues later this month when the Nevada City Elks Lodge # 518 presents their annual Veteran’s appreciation Dinner.  It will be Saturday November 21st. Steve Woolsey is the Chairman of the Elks Veterans Committee.

The event is presented at Elks lodges across the country to salute our veterans.

Woolsey says they would like to get a count so they know how much food to provide.

Volunteers can also call the lodge  at 265-4920 to volunteer to serve or to donate food items. Last year they served over 300 Turkey  dinners.
