Nevada City Film Festival Opens Tonight

There are also a couple of short subjects tonight, and throughout the weekend, over 60 films of various lengths will be displayed. Also, ‘Little Miss Sunshine” will run on Friday, featuring local filmmaker Jonathan Dayton, and the film’s tenth anniversary. Locks says the films are from all over the world–including a few from a film school in France…

Locks says the festival, which features showings at the Foundry, the Nevada Theater, and the Ol’ Republic Brewery, is designed so that people can see everything, or pick and choose which showings they can attend. Information, showtimes, and tickets are available at www.nevadacityfilmfestival.com.
