An 11-year-old Nevada City girl who ran away from home has been found safe and in good condition, and apparently very lucky. Police Chief Tim Foley says Jaia Aginsky was located wandering on Boulder Street, after his department received a call from a family friend. But she was not in the local area the entire time. He says she told officer that she had hitchhiked to Roseville…
Foley says it’s still not clear where Jaia stayed last (Mon.) night, after leaving home that morning…

Foley says Jaia’s mother now lives in Canada and Jaia was apparently upset about an argument between her parents, related to a custody dispute.
