Nevada City Police Department received a 911 call from a juvenile female Wednesday night around 10:30 who reported that she had been the victim of a sexual assault.

Nevada City Police Sgt. Dan Badour says officers had to use the signal from the callers cell phone to pinpoint the location where the call was made and they responded to the the 300 block of High street in Nevada city where they contacted the victim.

Police took into custody 31 year old James Clark-Black of Nevada City and he was booked into the Wayne Brown correctional Facility on charges of Sexual intercourse with a minor, being under the influence of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance and bringing alcohol or drugs into the jail. Nevada City police say the investigation is ongoing.
