Harris credits Nevada City citizens for passing Measure S in 2006 and Measure L in 2012–taxing themselves to improve the city’s roads and services. Harris says the thing she’s most proud of in her tenure on the council is continued acquisition and preservation of open spaces and supporting the trails so that people can access those open spaces…

Harris also thanks the people she’s worked with, saying in a press release, “Working with the community, city staff and fellow council members has been a highly rewarding, enriching and productive experience.”
