Nevada City Police Crack Down On Improper Driving

Responding to an increasing number of complaints, Nevada City Police have begun cracking down on what’s called “improper driving practices” in town. Chief Tim Foley says the special enforcement is conducted on random days, usually twice a week, depending on officer availability. He says warnings are normally issued, but about 25% of the motorists they stop do get tickets…

Foley says it’s too early to tell how effective the program has been but police have received a lot of gratitude from residents.
