Nevada City Police Officers Launch Beards for a Cause Campaign

In December, the Friendship Club was approached by the Nevada City Police Department with a desire to raise funds for the girls and the program.

Nevada City Police Chief Tim Foley says Friendship Club Director Jennifer Singer was excited about the idea. and so they launched the “Beards for a Cause” fundraiser.

For the next 3 months the officers will be growing their beards to symbolize their commitment to the cause as they raise funds for The Friendship Club….
