Nevada City School Board Candidate Withdraws

Nevada City School District Board candidate Gus del Valle  says he’s withdrawing from the Nov. 6 election because added responsibilities at his job leave him without enough time to serve as a school district trustee.
The 62-year-old del Valle is a shift supervisor for the city of Roseville’s power plant and says he wouldn’t be able to serve effectively on the Nevada City school board.
