Nevada City Theatre + Public Broadcasting

The Nevada Theatre’s plans to expand its backstage and accommodate broadcasting by Nevada County’s non-profit public radio station go before the planning commission for architectural review Sept 20.
The Nevada City review will be of a building that shows the quality of construction more than a century ago, says Ron Spiller, president of the Nevada Theatre Commission.

If he proposal goes forward the Nevada Theatre could be the home of a live broadcast akin to the Prairie Home Companion, spiller Says.
