Nevada City to Discuss Safe and Sane Fireworks Ban

No action will be taken this evening, but if the council is receptive to the idea, they’ll propose an ordinance at a later date. Goodspeed says there will probably be part of the public that is opposed, but use of fireworks is down, and a ban just makes sense…

It is legal to use fireworks in Nevada City, but not to sell them. Tonight’s meeting is at 6:30 at City Hall.
